Larry Larsen did a lot of original design work to integrate our design concepts into the final plans. And we added everything that we wanted with no significant complications or delays during the project.
We also received valuable interior design assistance from HRI Design as part of Larsen’s package. HRI’s design input on the interior colors, fixtures, and materials dramatically enhanced our satisfaction with our finished home.
After watching the building process every day, and speaking privately with many of the sub-contractors, we think Larsen builds in levels of quality and energy efficiency that many builders don’t even think about. Our new home has unusually good insulation, a highly efficient hot water based heating system, and an energy rating so good that Excel energy sent us a bonus check for $2500. In an environment of soft real estate values and conservative appraisals, our finished home appraised for more than we spent to build it. We feel great about the entire process of working with Larsen Development, and are extremely happy with our new home."
